June 2008

Hey Folks

Sorry about Friday night! Just after 6pm the curtains surrounding the stage caught fire and in the process of putting it out, all the gear and the front end of the venue was covered in fire fighting dust.
It looked pretty cool - kinda like Santa’s Cave in ‘Bad Santa’ - but it made doing any kind of show impossible.

Thankfully, nobody got hurt and plans for a rescheduling are underway.
Make sure you contact the Vanguard for a refund or any info in regards to keeping your booking for the rescheduled gig.
There’s no news on the new date as of yet.

The good news is that we’re gonna do a gig at the Hopetoun Hotel in Surry Hills on Thursday July 3rd. There’ll be no fancy curtains to catch fire at the Hoey – just Eddie’s fingertips as he rips off another guitar solo…

We’ll be supported by the Bernie Hayes Quartet and The Leisure Suit.

Fire Up!

Perry
